The second package finally arrived, huzzah! Only... my liquid fabric softener managed to spill inside. Ew. (Yes, I know that's why you're not supposed to ship liquids!) Hoo boy. We're halfway through the first week of build already. I'm currently working on the 42'x24' backdrop for the set and trying not to panic at its multicolored hugeness and also trying to stay on top of several flavors of meetings and appointments that have been occurring this week. We struck the show last night, and it took forever (not grueling work, but lots of it). The theater had to be put back to a complete "zero point" because another company is loading their show in the space today. Whee, it's the day we try to finish of every last little detail awaiting completion on the set. We're still at the theater, and I imagine we will be until well into the night. It all depends on when the mistakes start outweighing the progress. x-P
