So my fiance, Ryan, and I have a pretty set idea of what we want from a wedding. He wants something very casual and informal, I want a semi-formal ceremony and an informal reception. We both want it to be very small and only people who mean something to us.

His mother wants a super formal, huge, Catholic family reunion.( Advice needed on unwanted meddling and money. )

My FMIL is wonderful!!
Last week she offered to pay for our reception site, caterer, and cake. Yesterday I found out she is buying the toasting flutes and cake topper I REALLY want (about $200)That expands my budget by about $1500. But also brings me some issues I had counted out because of budget that I now need to think about.

I should be in bed. I know what my problem is. I am nervous about having dinner with my FH, FMIL, his sister (age 13 and going to be my Jr. Bridesmaid), my mom, and myself tonight. I’m baaaaccck with a totally different issue this time!

My fiancee and I are really overweight and out of shape. We have been discussing getting in shape for ourselves-I think we would both be happier and feel better about ourselves. We have purchased a treadmill, started to plan meals, etc.

Its 400 days until Chris and I tie the knot.
so far we have the place booked. And as of yesterday we have our cars booked.
I’m having a Ford GT stretch Limo. He’s having a four speed manual sedan.  Both are in red with black racing stripes. My mother isn’t fond of this idea, but i sure as hell am!
