Vendor Review: Pearl's Place

I know a lot of people on here probably aren't from the New Orleans area, but you can order gowns from them online. Just wanted to let you all know about my experience with them, in case that has any bearing on where you buy from.

Customer service is everything. I'd have given them an F ;)

Yeah, or maybe they should get a D. It's just that the pros rate them an A and the cons an F. I gave them a C average. If all I'd done was buy the dress, take it and never gone back it would have been fine.

I see what you mean, and I know how you feel ;) My wedding photographer took such great pictures of our wedding but has really sucked on the follow-through after the event. We didn't hear from him for 3 months. We weren't the only ones either. Just awful!

they are the ones that are upstairs in a building right?

No, they are in a pink building on Severn across from Lakeside Mall.

Not to make your rant useless, but i'm an northeast wedding planner abd have YET to have a problem with them.
Granted my brides haven't had them altered there, but they were right on the dot with delivery and colors and sizes.

perhaps going into the store is different.

I bought my bridal gown and BM dresses through them online (I don't live in the area) and I absolutely loved their response times and how prompt they were with sending the stuff over. I didn't have to go through their alterations department so I'm surprised that they can be so good on their online sales and mediocre in their in-store sales. Sorry you had such a bad time with your alterations. :(

I have read elsewhere that they are horrible in person but great online.
