creative ways to ask "will you be my bridesmaid?"

I want to hear about creative ways you asked your bridesmaids (or bridesmen) to be in your wedding. I'd like to try to think of something very crafty that will make them feel special, but I'm stumped.

I'm only having two ladies but they live nine and ten hours away from me, respectively, so I won't be able to take them out for a nice lunch like I ( Read more... )

Since my bridesmaids were all from out of town, I got heart-shaped leather luggage tags and wrote a little note in the part where the address is supposed to go asking them to be my bridesmaids...and decorated the inside of the small boxes I mailed them in :)

I got my bridesmaids this card: http://www.etsy.com/transaction/38931483 and inside each of them i wrote "top ten reasons you would make the perfect bridesmaid"! and then listed ten reasons that were complements (like "you'll help me pick the most amazing shoes") and inside jokes and cute comments. they all loved them (2 out of 3 cried!).
