When is it appropriate to start a wedding website? Is there such a thing as too soon? We are 495 days out from our August 11th 2012 wedding. Where is a good place to host one? I am pretty web savvy and could in theory design my own website but would prefer not to. I also need a place where people can RSVP since we're not having RSVP cards.

I like the 8.5x5.5 better, but I would advise centering the top part (starting with your names down to the city/state line. I'm just picky like that. =P

As for getting someone deputized for a day, call your local courthouse to check. Don't trust ANYTHING on the internet unless it is a government website. I read a lot of completely untrue things about how to get married in Pennsylvania that the courthouse was able to clarify.

I made my own website 2 years before the wedding. I bought a domain and made it the day we chose the date, lol.

After the wedding, I used it for our "Family" site, with a blog and the intention of using it to keep friends and family (I was 3000 miles away from mine) updated on any future kids.

After the divorce, I turned the site over to my ex - it has his last name on it. Now he uses it for his resume/portfolio. (it was obviously not a weddingy domain name lol)

My FH and I have been engaged for about three years. We really got serious about wedding planning for our October wedding last November. I'm using mywedding.com for our site and have kind of been keeping it updated as more details came up. We sent out our STDs on Friday and at this point it's practically finished.

I like both invitations but the second one seems more spaced out.

Just from a type setting point of view, I like the spacing on the second invitation WAY better. It makes it easier to read IMO. Anyway you could do something similar to the first one, 'cause the square is REALLY nice?

I'd be using the same paper with the same layout just printing it in a different size.
