I can't believe it's almost here! We've been engaged for almost a year and a half (our original date didn't work out) and planning for most of it. Now, it's down to the wire and things are getting exciting. We're finishing up the DIY projects, meeting with the caterer Monday, and doing the final walk through at the venue this week.

I wore jewelery before for photos and after for the reception...and had my veil taken off and replaced by a jeweled hair comb. Earrings brighten up the face under any circumstance, so i would recommend it. But make sure someone reminds you of the jewelery thing...i remembered to take off my rings but completely forgot about my earrings before the ceremony!

We had bouts for the dads but no flowers for the moms. they didn't seem to care and corsages were more expensive than bouts anyways.

That makes sense, I'm looking at earrings actually. And good point- I will have to designate someone to be the "earring holder." :)
