Hello, WP-ers! My wedding was one year ago today, and I finally got around to writing a post-wedding post. Mea culpa! Thanks, we really lucked out in finding our baker, Krista, who runs Sugarcoat It Studio. She specializes in modern-design cakes and really got what we were going for. She was able to distill our inspirations into a very neat looking cake. In keeping with the theme, we wanted to go with something light and fresh-tasting. The bottom two tiers (which we served at the reception) were lemon with lemon butter cream, flavored with limoncello; and the top tier (which we saved and ate with family the next day) was coconut with coconut butter cream.
