Anything else you'd like to tell us?: Hello, ladies (and gents? I know you're out there!). My partner Thom (thomwatson) and I are looking forward to our wedding - or legal marriage if the California Supreme Court does the right thing! - but regardless we'll have a ceremony. Can't wait to stand in front of our friends and family and say I do! There's a lot of great info and support you all have in this community, and although there are some things I won't have much use for, it's still great reading and knowing we're all in this together!
Edited to add: We became domestic partners on Friday, February 13, 2009. That was the closest weekday to Valentine's Day this year that the CA Secretary of State's office - which handles domestic partner registration - was open. Thank goodness neither of us is superstitious about Friday the 13th! Then we took a long weekend to Monterey/Carmel and got engaged! From my blog: "Honest men" part one and part two. ;-)
