HUGE POST WEDDING POST!!!

HI!
Casey and I got married in Orange, CA on July 31st, 2010. We were worried that it was going to be the hottest day EVER but it wasn't! Our budget was ~$7,000, not including rings or honeymoon, and I am pretty sure we stuck to it! Our photographer just sent us 20820348703247 pictures to go through, so there will probably be loads below (sorry!). ( Read more... )

color schemes: green, traditions: garter toss, shoes, outdoor wedding, cake toppers, hair styles: half up/half down, post-wedding post, california, color schemes: brown, music: do-it-yourself, favors: do-it-yourself, eco-friendly, summer weddings, traditions: bouquet toss, color schemes: yellow

What a gorgeous wedding! You look amazing and all of the details are so great. I just LOVE your guestbook idea with the fingerprints, I love it so much I am fighting temptation to change my guestbook to that with only 21 days left until my wedding, LOL!

haha thanks so much! we had a regular guestbook too, a vintage scrapbook we bought on ebay. People wrote the sweetest things! You'll love reading them after your wedding :)

thank you so much! The bridesmaid dresses are a simplicity pattern, i think. And the flowers were chosen because of cheapness, but i ended up really liking them too! :)

Everything was gorgeous! Congrats! I'm so happy to see someone else with the fingerprint tree guestbook... I love it so much but haven't seen it in action. Did your guests like it?

Everything was super super beautiful! :)

yeah they did! some of them didn't get it though - some of them stamped the actual stamp pads onto the tree instead of their fingerprints. It still looks fine because the stamp pads were sort of leaf shaped. Not everyone did it, but it looks really pretty!

And thank you so much :)

Thank you so much! It took us A LOOONNGGG time to settle on a photographer. Photos were very very important to us but we had almost no money to pay for one. but we got all day coverage from two photographers, some editing afterwards and digital downloads of everything for $1,000. I actually heard of her from someone else in here - thank you whoever you are for that recommendation!

And thank you! mine is from David's Bridal but I think it's discontinued. I bought it on ebay new with tags. The bridesmaid dresses are a simplicity pattern, i believe.

I recognize this venue!!! It's the french estate! (Of course it took me a bit of staring at the photo of you and your maids in front of the little house to recognize it.)

I did a wedding there almost a year ago. Such a cute little place, and the price can't be beat!

Congratulations. Everything looks lovely, and you look stunning.

I'm actually up in NoHo. However, there are a ton of great venues not to far down in orange. I believe chapstickqueen is pretty close to you!
