HUGE POST WEDDING POST!!!

HI!
Casey and I got married in Orange, CA on July 31st, 2010. We were worried that it was going to be the hottest day EVER but it wasn't! Our budget was ~$7,000, not including rings or honeymoon, and I am pretty sure we stuck to it! Our photographer just sent us 20820348703247 pictures to go through, so there will probably be loads below (sorry!). So please dont click the cut if your internet is slow!

There were a couple of 'problems', that really didn't affect anything:
-We chose to DIY pretty much every aspect of the wedding, so the night before we had to pack everything up into a ton of cars to get it over there the next morning. We forgot a LOT of things and kept having to make trips home to get stuff, but most of it ended up making it (things that are lost forever include my toss garter [and thus, my real garter because i had to toss it instead], and the necklace I was going to wear. And my bra. For some reason these things never turned up at the ceremony site and never were found afterward! but it didnt matter :) )
-Someone forgot the salad dressing but our dear event co-ordinator had some that we used!
-Some of the food was forgotten at the restaurant, but someone went to get it.
-The cops were called twice because the neighbors thought that the music was too loud (the cops didn't think so either time).
-There was some drama between ex's in the wedding party which luckily i didn't hear about until I got back from lovely peaceful oahu!

Those little things seemed so trivial even on the day itself, but looking back I REALLY don't care that any of the things that 'went wrong' happened. So I threw away my keepsake garter... did I really want an old sweaty garter? Not really!

One problem that kind of affected the whole day was that the boys took Casey out the night before. He was very responsible, but they convinced him to try his first ever cigar and it made him sick ALL DAY. They all told him it would be no big deal, but it really was, and he was mad at them for making him do it. He still had a lot of fun though!

Casey and I had a perfect day - it was so much fun to dance with our families and just celebrate love. I'll let the photos below do the rest of the talking! :)

Our ring bearer/Jr. Groomsman and Casey

A big huge wasp fighting a green caterpillar landed in Carissa's hair (the BM who is facing the camera). The wasp won the battle and the caterpillar oozed green goop all over her! It was very exciting.

RECEPTION
We DIY DJ'ed the reception, and I was VERY WORRIED that no one would dance. But...
The dance party? IT WAS CRAZY.

Our bouquet toss song was to All the Single Ladies. We had so much fun! And our Jr. Groomsman made the bouquet out of origami roses. :)

Father/Daughter dance to IN MY LIFE by the beatles. :).

Bye!
