Bridal Party: Green Day's "Time of your Life" (string quartet version)
Me: Tori Amos "pretty good year" (also string quartet)

But then our wedding was pretty different. It opened with the princess bride quote complete with the funny accent/speech problem. "Mawwiage. Mawwiage is what bwings us togethaw today. Mawwiage, that bwessed awwangement, that dweam within a dweam... "

lol.

Recessional was the ramp up from The Verve's bittersweet symphony.

As my dad walked me down the aisle, he whispered, "Mawwidge..." into my ear so I would giggle. Then after he told me he'd been waiting for twenty years to do that, haha.

I love this! The intro before the lyrics is just at a minute; were you able to get done before the lyrics started? I love the music but the lyrics aren't the happiest.

We're entering to two Mediaeval Baebes songs:
Bridal Party: L'Amour De Moi
Me: The Woods and the Rivers are Silent

Our officiant is playing Jack Johnson's "do you remember" or jason mraz's "i'm yours" on the guitar and singing. because she's awesome and we're doing a small beach ceremony with no other music before the big deal later in the day.

For the big ceremony with speakers, we're probably doing Bright eyes "first day of my life" which is also done on acoustic guitar.

Those are pretty untraditional, and we're music folk too.

We used "First Day of My Life" as our first dance song. Didn't realize that it would be so hard to dance to until we were doing it at the reception! lol. Our guests had a good laugh at our awkwardness and audible comments that "gee, we probably should have practiced this beforehand!" Heh.

We're going to attempt to do our first dance to "the luckiest" by ben folds...but I see it ending badly so we may just use billy joel lol.

My favorite is straight out of "Love Actually".... it's Beatles but I can't tell you the name of the song at the moment. I'm sure someone will fill it in for me :)

I have no idea about the rest of the music, but I am determined to walk down the aisle to "Bittersweet Symphony"!
