Ok, so...the dress!

I've decided to keep the origonal first dress I bought, after much consideration of going with a newer/fancier/more expensive one. I did a lot of seaching on the internets and frankly I think I am just too picky, everything I've seen was the wrong cut or the wrong material or the wrong price...and I figure there is certainly something to be said

I second the hat idea. My mother had a custom hat and it was amazing with her dress. (I wish I had pictures online of it)
