Something old, some new ...

I'm just curious.  Did you do the whole 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue'?  And if so, what did you use for each?

I TOTALLY spaced this off until I was in my wedding dress, IN the church, getting my makeup done.  I had a pretty traditional wedding (minus what hubby wore) so I thought I NEEDED to do this.

I wore my mom's garter, that was my old and borrowed. Basically everything else was new... and my garter had a little charm that was Cinderella's coach and that was blue.

Old- my "promise ring" my (now husband) gave me 4 years before our wedding.
New- My bracelet. I like the wedding band being it, but you get that AFTER you're technically married.
Borrowed- my MIL's pearl necklace
Blue- before my Grandmother died she gave all her grand daughters a charm that she had (just kinda like giving out her jewelry). She gave me a blue charm since it is my favorite color. I wore it on an ankle bracelet (since it didn't go with anything I was wearing).

I gave it some thought, but as the wedding day approached I forgot. My dress, veil, petticoat, shoes, underwear, bracelet, necklace, and earrings were new. My official borrowed was my friend's handkerchief, but thanks to a lost bag I also borrowed a bra. My panties navel ring were blue. My nose stud, navel ring and cartilage ring were all old, but the official old was a flat gold band I always were that belonged to my grandmother and was made from a ring of my grandfather's that she melted down. My garter was new but I made it from some ACUs my husband wore in Iraq.

Old (and borrowed) - The handbag my mom used.
New - jewelry, tiara
Blue - Giants garter

old - grandma's pearls from japan (if i can find them packed away in the garage. if not, it'll be knock-off time and i'll have to find something else that's old)
new - dress and everything else with it
borrowed - i'm going to borrow a penny from my mother to put in my shoe (only because I can't really think of anything else to borrow)
blue - i plan to wear blue undies or ones with at least blue in the design (possibly this cute pair of spongebob ones I bought the other day)
