Er...you DON'T expect full-time mothering to drive you nuts? Carp, I'd expect even part-time fathering to drive me up the wall, over it, down the other side, rinse, lather, repeat, margaritas at the midnight buffet!!! Can you tell that the very idea seriously damages my calm? I envy you not, my friend! :-)

I should rephrase that, because you're right: there's little chance that full time mothering will *not,* in some fundamental way, drive me nuts
