My only advise is...don't panic too much. In the worse case, if you forgot to bring something you can probably get it mailed to you.
Have fun! College is fun! :D Just stay positive and focused when things get hectic (and remember to party and relax when the hectic times are over, very important.) And don't be afraid to ask for advice or help. That was my biggest mistake as a freshman.
matthew learns, too, that sometimes it's all about give-and-take. he donates his blankets to operation BLT; he watches as the backyard tent slowly becomes more of a fortress (but alfred insists on calling it the BLT, for kicks), and takes from alfred's arsenal a few striped ties that blind his parliament.
he takes alfred's smile and replaces it with a genuine laugh, when it suits him; matthew takes, too, alfred's sadness and tries to give back some happiness. sometimes, this doesn't work.
when it doesn't, it's alfred's turn - he takes from matthew silent strength, giving a piece of himself to the warmth of his hugs and pressing soft kisses to his cheek.

Oh my god I haven't been on in forever, anyway, I believe in you! University isn't too shabby so far.
BTW, if you store any snacks, MAKE THEM HEALTHY. You will inevitably snack, holy christ. Barely 2 weeks into school and if I was eating donuts instead of special K I would be 30 pounds heavier.
