I decided that it might be a wise idea to mirror my LiveJournal site on Dreamwidth and got the files successfully transferred in just a couple minute operation. For security purposes, I changed my LJ password before using it and then changed it back after the migration was successful

If you post from DW you can automatically xpost to LJ. (Botty uses Semagic.)

It can be corn-fusing. :)

I think you can do it one of two ways (at least). One is to set up Semagic to do a post to multiple accounts accounts. The other is, I think, to have Dreamwidth crosspost automatically. I've opted for the first.
