I just wanted to say - thank you so much, everyone. I'm so very grateful to have known you all.
I don't quite know how to put this, but it looks like my world - our world - is on the brink of a war. My friends are in danger. I didn't really know how bad the situation was until just now

[there's a very long pause.]
I'm sorry. I'm feeling so many things and I don't know how to write any of them down.

[Kagerou comes rattling across the bridge at a run. Kagerou, or Orihime. She fluxes between the two names even in her own mind. But to 00 she has always been Kagerou, so let it hold for a little more. Kagerou and 00 are family. Maybe Orihime and Rei are the same now. They have to be. Memories or not, war at home or not, she can't lose the bonds she has forged in Edensphere.
She catches sight of her friend and her steps slow down, to a quick walk, until she stops next to 00. A smile tugs at her mouth, but it's brave and wistful and overwhelmed, many things at once, and her eyes are a bit too bright.]
I'm here.

[Simon realizes he's never said that before, but now seems as good a time as any.]

I'll miss you something fierce, but--we both have people waiting for us. My best friend, Tatsuki, and Sado-kun--or Kind, when he was here--and Ishida-kun, and all my classmates.
You know we'll see each other again, right?

But can you be sure that will happen?

Yes. And this time, I'm coming along.

Yeah. Don't make much sense for us to go get you just to leave you behind again.

Thank you. It means-- I'm glad to hear you say that. See you write it. You know.

We're the good guys. They always win in the end, right?
[Pentap.] And you were right. My friends made it there to save me. [More pentaps, but no more writing appears.]

[He wants to match her enthusiasm, but the price that will be paid in his team's victory is high.]
I am glad to hear it, Kagerou, and I know that you will be assisting in the fight.

I'll do all I can. And hopefully then some. Always set the bar a little higher than you can reach, right? Or well, most of the time.

[There's a bit of a pause - he's not quite sure what to say.]
A world at the brink of one is a grim one indeed, but wherever it may lead you, find happiness. I know you to be capable of finding it in the darkest of places. May that talent ever persevere.

I'll do my best. I found it here, too, after all. Thanks to you, too.
