My parents were over tonight and we got on to discussing the other place. One of the complications is the bathroom (to be converted from the other bedroom) where the window butts up immediately to a sidewall this means that whatever goes there blocks there. Having just left Wilco laden down with cracking bargains (paint, dye, Zoflora!) My carer and I were just saying about what great bargains I'd picked up. Since my parents moved a few months ago, knowing how accident prone my father is we were wondering how long it would be before he fell into the fish pond there. I can confirm it was Three months. He fell in today and discovered that they also have a frog 😂

No post today, my fabulous postman was stuck 2 villages away with the broken down van again. Unbelievably my father was on his way to here to take me for a blood test and saw him broken down on the back road from theirs to mine so stopped to see if he could help. It was my father's birthday today and he's still got his own hair colour. So he was very puzzled to read my birthday card to him. On the front it read "Dad, I'm sorry for giving you grey hair" but inside his confused expression changed to laughter as he read what I'd written "See, no grey hair, I'm not as bad as you think!!" 😂

It's really been an horrific day. Again it's 4.30am and I can't sleep, I've been writing on here, other bits, catch up bits, items from the news, anything that avoids saying what happened today.
