Oh gods, I've eaten ALL the bonfire toffee, every scrap. And I only made it last night :O I am a pig! I must be due because I found myself trying to decipher my childish scrawl of decades ago about a creamy toffee recipe. It needs condensed milk which I don't have and I found myself wondering if it would be possible to make it with creamed coconut

Thanks for that aellia about the milk, that would well have been a disaster! There's no shops for miles :( But there is one in town who sell a butter tablet by weight, yum :D

I'll have to wait until tomorrow now, I can't get in yet :(

of course I could always make some more bonfire toffee? LOL
