Writing is always so closely tied to anxiety, I think. What comes before the writing, what happens during the writing, and what's left after the writing is done-- I feel like all of it is about anxiety! So whenever I considered making a writing journal or a masterlist or anything of that sort, I've always come up with too many cons that seemed to ( Read more... )

writing is a product of anxiety

You'd think that painting one's nails would lead to less biting.

Only literally when they aren't painted! So actually, wait, I guess it does lead to less biting... why aren't you watching tennis with more focus.

Oh, I hear you. I hear you loud and clearly. I still get a little nauseous whenever I hit post under my username, I do, I do. (I have the tendency to declaim my fics in the author's notes, to wave a sign saying 'but let me tell you about all its faults before you even go in). :(

Yay for community, and of course I would never defriend this journal. You are stuck with me for the long haul! Your brain is shiny to me in all its manifestations.

Hahaha, oh, god, that is hilarious, I know what you mean about the declaiming! (Disclaiming? Wait, I'm confused. What is English?) It is all, Wait, guys, okay, before you click-- I want you to-- wait, don't click! Just-- hold on, bear with me here, I know that the first few paragraphs will make you want to stop reading, but-- just BEAR WITH THE FIC-- and I know that the next few paragraphs don't get any better, and actually it sucks through to the end, but...

Except you are amazing so you should never have to feel that way. :(

I am totally the person standing at the finish line, screaming, "If you make it to the end, I promise you treats! So you didn't care for the fic? How about cake? How about macros? How about this picture of Tom Hardy? How about a free car?"

...okay, so no free car. But shhh, no one has to know!

How about a Hello Kitty-themed suitcase that will talk to you in your moments of indecision.
