At church yesterday, I was seated next to an ex- professor from Earlham College who had written a book on William Penn and his theology. This guy is doing a "Quaker 101" series at the church. Next week, the topic goes from basic history facts to Inner Light theology.

I didn't know you were Quaker. Small world. Speaking of Quakers, have you read any of Phil Gulley's books? He is so very funny. He pastors the church (I suppose I should say Meeting) where I am attending lately. Back at seminary, they kept going on about how great he was. Years later, I finally read his books, and discovered that they were right.

I'm the other kind of quaker-with no pastor.
And no i haven't. Likely because he's more popular in the evangelical quaker side rather than the liberal.

There is a lot about Quakerism I don't know for sure.
What's an IS? That is a very interesting topic you have there on feminist literary perspective. Are you questioning why she had a male protagonist instead of a female? I always wondered.
