I think you mean "hacker" in a different sense in which I'm a hacker, but as a (Jargon-File-definition-style) hacker who also has an information law background, feel free to pick my brains (email is fine.)
Kidding. I dunno what resources I'll need. I haven't even figured out the scope of the topic yet; I need to meet with the faculty advisor again (since she's the one who said "yeah, do your original idea as a backup, but here's the article I think you should do instead" and there's no arguing with her).
