Pool.

I decided some time ago that I wanted to be the sort of woman who plays pool and poker, knows how to shoot a gun, and rides a motorcycle. Poker has ceased to hold interest for me and it's hard to find someone who'll take me to the range, but I've got the bike and the rudiments of riding it, and while I still suck at pool after two years of playing ( Read more... )

I don't get to the range as often as I'd like.. so I'm game for a outing to wades or something. A friend has been talking about doing "2nd amendment sundays' for a while... but it hasn't happened yet. But he has a good place to do these things out west of here a bit...

I like to play pool. I do have a pool table at my place, but it's rather unused.... as for motorbikes, you are on your own. I might be willing to get on the back of one.

Poker seems like it's much more fun at my level, where I watch it - drunk - on late-night telly and make up/modify my own internal ruleset that covers the hands I've seen, because these days (in the UK) they've given up trying to explain what's going on.

If you ever want to feel truly superior in pool, you could take me. I don't even *try* to win. :)

I haven't been shooting since the infamous Nevada Desert Incident.

I hate poker about as much as I hate chess. I think that makes me stupid, but I'm ok with it.
