What, no posts about Lost? What about House?

So the season finale of Lost was on last night. And the night before that was the season finale of House. Also last night was the season finale of American Idol. It's been a busy two nights of television in the McKenna household, for sure.

With so much to talk about, how can there not be a cut? )

pop culture, lost, kill your television, house

Since I've never watched a full episode of Lost, House or American Idol, I'll just make a quick comment, observe, and get back to studying for the Virginia bar exam.

Cut the cord and just go total NetFlix.

Thanks for listening.

Yeah, I'm on netflix, and I am still watching season one. What sucks is, I will not get to see season two before season three starts. I will always be behind.

but I sure do LOVE my netflix!

Has anyone seen Penn and Tellers Bullshit, I rented a few discs, and it't pretty cool. Anyone?

Lost was so good last night...a little disappointed in the lame ending with Claire and Charlie though - whoah, I just realized that's a variation on your name and seaves's.

I really liked the Desmond backstory and the way it tied into the plane crash.

I hope Locke and Eko survived. They are two of the best characters on the show.

Isn't it crazy that the actor who plays House is British? His American accent is spot on. He was pretty funny at the Golden Globes a while back.

I can't say I follow that show, but I've seen a few episodes and think it's a well-written show, although it tends to be formulaic - a patient checks into the hospital with seemingly straight-forward symptoms, but then he/she exhibits some odd behavior that puzzles everyone, House gathers his team, they all postulate what could be the cause, they try a few tests and discover some new twist that makes no sense at all, and then resort to some unorthodox methods to prove one of House's wild theories, and he ends up being correct. Still, it makes for an entertaining hour.

that girl has a chest, uh-huh.

did you know that the guy who plays House has - among other appearances - been one of the main characters in one of the world's great sitcoms, the late 1980's BBC effort Blackadder the Third?

obviously it won't mean anything to you but i say in all sincerity that i will be laughing in my grave to the line "Isn't it, isn't it going to be a bit difficult to patronise this book if we've burnt it?".

P.S.
i'm in the country next month. we'll have to meet up for a glass of Bells beer.
