coherent comment: I had this comment all written out, and then read again and saw part...1....so can I safely assume more to come at a later date?
I hope so, I certainly like it the way it is (and it still works in a perfect storm sort of angst moment kind of way) but of course more S/U is always better isn't it?
In that case I'll just say THANK YOU! anyway and wait c:
Sorry! I probably should have directed you to the index (http://community.livejournal.com/we3sisters/80907.html)! I was going to write something like - warning: angst but it gets less so, but I got distracted and by the time I wandered back
( ... )
No problem! I'm sure I'll love the rest of it too! (especially if you somehow managed all my nutty prompts!) Don't worry about the tone and whether it's holiday appropriate, It's started amazingly so I can only guess it'll get even better
I will patiently await for the rest when it's finished to your satisfaction :D
Oh, I liked your prompts!! It was a challenge fitting them in but that was part of the fun. I did some literal inserts but I also launched off them too. Well, anyway, I've posted the second part now so hopefully, it will provide some uh, resolution... :)
gaaaaaaaaaaah!!! *heartbreaks* this was so well done and you really got the action scenes done well. poor McCoy and Christine--trying to do everything they can for Spock. smh look forward to the rest!
I'm glad you liked it despite how angsty it is! The second part is up and well, I *think* in some ways it is even angstier but don't worry, everyone is doing all they can for Spock!
OMG! Thank goodness I saw your comment that this a multi-part story because until then "uggggg!" Horrifying realistic.
And where's the S/U? Can I get her a little upset with it all? I came for some ship and got something very different. Good, but super angsty. I wasn't expecting it, and I'm kind of in shock.
Sorry! It does barrel into the angst quite quickly, doesn't it? But this is definitely a S/U story. It also covers McCoy's relationship with his daughter but there's a parallel set up to reinforce what is going on in each of the reationships this story explores. The second half of Part 2 (which is up) covers Uhura's reaction. She is upset but since this is filtered through McCoy's POV, we only see what McCoy sees.
Okay, so you have fair warning, it is an angsty story overall BUT I do fulfill all the elements of the prompt which means I do not break up S/U!
Oh noes! My poor Spocky poo! I was relieved when I saw that this is a multi-part fic. Oh, I hope you fix this. Maybe there is some katra passing action going on?
