Sims 1 Families for Sims 2

Call it nostalgia but I've been looking to recreate a sims 1 neighbourhood in sims 2. There used to be a site that have pretty much all the families and homes from sims 1 recreated for sims 2. Does anyone know where I can find that site? My searching skills seem to be lacking now.

What you could be thinking of is Genensims. http://genensims.com/guest/MadameMim/neighbourhoodsS1.htm Madame Mim and a bunch of us on Usenet remade the whole Sims 1 neighbourhood for Sims 2 a few years back. Although the families come with houses, they are clean and do not bring with them any junk information. If you want just the sims and not the houses, you could make a temporary hood, put the houses in and extract the sims, then ditch the hood.

The other place you could be thinking of is Sims 2 Estates. That sites used to have all the Sims 2 houses and families available for download as well as some of the Sims 1 families, though I don't think they had all of them like Madame Mim does. Sims 2 Estates has turned into Sims 3 Real Estate and it no longer has any of the Sim 1 for Sims 2 sims nor does it have any of the extracted Sims 2 lots. http://www.sims3realestate.com/
