He was completely unaware of another demon in the woods until he was at the tree where Stolas was in. Only then did his senses feel that someone was watching him and he stiffened, his hand slipping slowly into his pocket to wrap around his knife.
Lindsey didn't like suddenly feeling like he was prey.

He clapped Lindsey on the shoulder strongly, before stepping back with a smile. "Have fun. I'll be watching."
And with that, he vanished from view, releasing the order holding Lindsey in place as he did.

She sighed slightly, closing her eyes for a moment, and sending a silent request off to Ruby. If the sword was gone, the trigger was gone, and that was all they needed for a moment. She leaned into him slightly, wrapping her arms around him. "I'm so sorry."
