In which Stolas has some fun

Stolas loved Montana. All the open air, wide open spaces, baby demons that he could play with and cause a little unbridled chaos.

It wasn't that he was jealous. Sure Felicia, pretty little thing that he was had always been his, had always been one of his favorite toys. He had always loved various things about her, and Lindsey had almost taken ( Read more... )

Lindsey was looking for a rabbit. He needed a few pieces of it for a spell he was working on learning - the rest would be dinner. Ever since the Winchesters had moved back into their place in Seattle, he and Felicia had taken over the abandoned cabin that Sam had been held captive in.

After all, it already had some pretty impressive wards around it thanks to Bela. Why let it go to waste?

He was completely unaware of another demon in the woods until he was at the tree where Stolas was in. Only then did his senses feel that someone was watching him and he stiffened, his hand slipping slowly into his pocket to wrap around his knife.

Lindsey didn't like suddenly feeling like he was prey.

"Oh, don't worry -- there's no need for that," Stolas said with a bit of a smirk. "Just stay where you are and don't move. This'll probably be over before you know it."

Once he was sure the psychic commands were in place, he made himself visible in the tree, leaning back with a slightly sadistic grin. "Lindsey McDonald. I have heard a lot about you."

His hand was half out of his pocket when he suddenly froze. His eyes widened a bit before they too froze in place, and he couldn't even move his jaw to speak. When Stolas said don't move, his body obeyed 100%.

It was his worst fear - not being in control. Ever since Wolfram and Hart had done whatever they had to his mind and soul when they had put him in the holding dimension, he had no control over mental suggestions. Hell, one of the things they did when you joined the firm was kill any shields you had against psychics that worked for the firm so they could easily mind-scan their employees for traitorous thoughts.

What do you want from me? he asked through the demon telepathic link, since it was the only way he had to communicate.

He blinked slightly, he hadn't been expecting that much control. Which was fantastic but made it very difficult to have a conversation.

"Oh, I'm sorry -- you can talk," he smirked slightly, before hopping down out of the tree. "And really -- I just want to talk. Friendly chat between we two demon types, that's all."
