In which Stolas has some fun

Mar 13, 2009 13:50

Stolas loved Montana. All the open air, wide open spaces, baby demons that he could play with and cause a little unbridled chaos.

It wasn't that he was jealous. Sure Felicia, pretty little thing that he was had always been his, had always been one of his favorite toys. He had always loved various things about her, and Lindsey had almost taken ( Read more... )

Lindsey was looking for a rabbit. He needed a few pieces of it for a spell he was working on learning - the rest would be dinner. Ever since the Winchesters had moved back into their place in Seattle, he and Felicia had taken over the abandoned cabin that Sam had been held captive in.

After all, it already had some pretty impressive wards around it thanks to Bela. Why let it go to waste?

He was completely unaware of another demon in the woods until he was at the tree where Stolas was in. Only then did his senses feel that someone was watching him and he stiffened, his hand slipping slowly into his pocket to wrap around his knife.

Lindsey didn't like suddenly feeling like he was prey.

"Oh, don't worry -- there's no need for that," Stolas said with a bit of a smirk. "Just stay where you are and don't move. This'll probably be over before you know it."

Once he was sure the psychic commands were in place, he made himself visible in the tree, leaning back with a slightly sadistic grin. "Lindsey McDonald. I have heard a lot about you."

His hand was half out of his pocket when he suddenly froze. His eyes widened a bit before they too froze in place, and he couldn't even move his jaw to speak. When Stolas said don't move, his body obeyed 100%.

It was his worst fear - not being in control. Ever since Wolfram and Hart had done whatever they had to his mind and soul when they had put him in the holding dimension, he had no control over mental suggestions. Hell, one of the things they did when you joined the firm was kill any shields you had against psychics that worked for the firm so they could easily mind-scan their employees for traitorous thoughts.

What do you want from me? he asked through the demon telepathic link, since it was the only way he had to communicate.

He blinked slightly, he hadn't been expecting that much control. Which was fantastic but made it very difficult to have a conversation.

"Oh, I'm sorry -- you can talk," he smirked slightly, before hopping down out of the tree. "And really -- I just want to talk. Friendly chat between we two demon types, that's all."

Lindsey snorted. "Friendly chats don't involve mind control," he stated, his voice rough as he worked to control his anger.

"Well, really," he said softly, moving in closer to him, and leaning so that he was in Lindsey's face. "If I'd just walked up to you and gone 'Hi, my name is Stolas, let's get coffee' would you really have said 'Golly gee, that sounds like fun'?

"I'm not a big coffee person. If you asked if I wanted a beer..."

Yeah, there's the sarcasm.

Stolas made a face at the beer comment, before shaking his head and walking away, before flashing a smile back at him. "Besides, this is more fun. I'm sure you must be very light on your feet, being a swordsman and all. Rather flexible -- the flexible ones are usually Felicia's type."

His eyes turned black a moment, not revealing he was a demon - Stolas would already know that - but a mark of his anger seething.

"Sorry, you're not my type, if that's what this is all about."

"No -- no, no, no," Stolas nodded, before turning back to him with a smirk. "But this is about Felicia. Who I've happened to notice that you know very well." He leaned forward, breathing in by the man's shoulder.

"You even still smell like her. You two must be having lots of fun."

It took him a moment longer to have it all fall into place.

This was the demon that held her. Had kidnapped her along with Ruby. Played with her and done things that she would never talk about to him with.

A dangerous smirk came to Lindsey's lips. "Each and every day, any moment we feel the urge. Some days we don't even leave our bed. We moved out here so the neighbors would stop complaining when she's screaming my name at the top of her lungs."

"Well, I'm glad you two are enjoying yourself," Stolas said with a nod, before pulling back and clasping his hands behind his back. "Too bad you won't be able to do it much longer."

"You touch her and I will kill you."

"Oh, I'm not going to touch her," Stolas said with a smirk. "You are, though. So would you wind up killing yourself -- that could be interesting." He was a bit distracted in that thought, tilting his head to the side slightly and turning away from Lindsey. "Oh, this could be more fun than I thought."

Lindsey just watched him, then closed his eyes.

Felicia, darlin' - run. Don't ask questions, don't come for me. Just run. He reached out to her, focusing on her. It was a warning. He didn't know what Stolas was going to do, but he knew that if he could control him, he wanted her as far from him.

Stolas let him send out the warning, but he knew that Felicia wouldn't listen. In fact, he was relatively sure that she would do the exact opposite of whatever he was suggesting, because Felicia's instincts to protect others were stronger than her instincts to protect herself.

"Now, here's what I want you to do. I want you to go home, find your dearly beloved, and give her a nice long goodbye kiss."
