He just turned up the music and drove, not having anything to say to her, and her not having anything to say to him. He let the sentence trail slightly as he moved to sit on the side of the bar. He was willing to wait. In fact, the less time he had to spend in the car with Ruby the better.

"I've got my stuff in the back. I've just got to shut down the games and lock the place up." She untied her apron and tossed it down on top of the bar. "Why don't you tell me your game plan?"

"At the moment? There isn't really one. I'm still waiting on a location from another friend of mine, and she said she'd contact me as soon as she has one. If she's any kind of smart, she'll go there and check out the place herself first, so that we know what we're getting into, but Bela can be a bit of stupid sometimes, so who knows -- either way, she's trying to find Sam first, and with the demons we're dealing with, that's gonna take some time."
