[After a very long trip that had given Conan a keen appreciation for the dangers of the local wildlife he had set out to explore this new strange town. The last thing he had ever expected was to see Ran here.

Ran.... One of the few things that had given him comfort here was his conviction that Ran was safe at home. That she wasn't trapped here like the rest of them with all these dangers. Why had they brought her here as well?

But for now he needed to get her attention. Conan runs towards her and calls out to her.]

[ And she starts running towards him, too, surroundings be damned; she pulls him into a tight hug, with a sigh of relief that he's okay. But...wait, what is he doing here? ]

[He grabs onto her arm to stabilize himself. After so many months being an easily portable size he'd gotten used to it. And... at this point he wasn't going to complain about anything that would make this news easier for her.]

We've both been kidnapped by a group called the scientists. This is a city called Dissimulo, but I don't know where it is.
