[ Ran has awoken to find herself in a strange world, one that doesn’t seem the least bit familiar. After having dinner with Shinichi last night, solving yet another murder, and having that weird dream about being asleep on a lab table, she wonders if anything is a coincidence anymore. ]
Shinichi? [ A pause, as she tries to look around, in hopes that maybe he’s come back again. It seems like she's found herself at a subway station, but there doesn't seem to be anyone else around, and it looks almost abandoned, compared to the stations she's used to back home. ] O-oh, great…
[ Creepy. Yes, definitely creepy. She's not liking this at all, but she can't help but look around a little. So she takes a few steps outside, examining her surroundings. ]
First he ditches me and now I end up here? Somebody please tell me I’m still dreaming…
[ And she stops to close her eyes for just a moment, as if to wish really hard. She opens them soon after, however, upon feeling no change, and feels a small device in her pocket. She thinks it’s her phone, at first-that’s right, maybe she can call someone for help!-but no. It’s something far less familiar, and when she tries to figure out how to use it, she sees the ominous note attached. ]
‘Use this’? But...what is it?
[ She pushes a few buttons, and her eyes seem to light up upon seeing something happen on the screen. Is-is she doing something right? ]
