Failed again. At this point, I'm so pissed that I feel numb.

My score was 65. One less check mark and I would've passed.

I'll try again on Wednesday. In the meantime, I am going to curl up in bed and silently curse Japan until my hands stop shaking.

Yep. Failed today too. Got a 55 out of 100. 70 is passing, so you can see I didn't do very well today at all (however, everyone else got scores "below 50". I take solace in the fact that at least my score wasn't so terrible that they wouldn't tell me what it was.) Well, slap some cheese to my face and drive my train through a building into the street. I failed my driver's test today. I went into this thinking I would probably fail my first attempt, but it's still disappointing. The proctor said that I had my turn signal on too long before I approached the intersection... Well, as of tomorrow, Japan is taking away my freedom. And by freedom, I mean my privilege to drive. I won't get a chance to take the driving test until August 13th, so I will be without a license for at least three weeks. Longer if I fail ( Read more... )

Usually my job requires that I be on the go for eight hours straight. I'm either teaching, watching someone who is teaching, or doing something to prepare for teaching. I don't really particularly mind; the day passes very quickly when I'm busy ( Read more... )

I got really sick this weekend. Fever and a major sore throat. I feel much better today, but I'm still lightheaded and coughing nonstop. It's the coughing that's really bad. My chest and back are sore and my throat is raw. Fluids and cough drops aren't helping much. I just hope that whatever this is, I cough it up soon. I can't be awake all night ( Read more... )
