Tell Me Something I Don't Know

Yay, my journal has a new layout finally! This one is old-school hard-coded S1 with tables. I've been wanting to make a new layout forever, but never really had the time, patience, or any obsession big enough to really strike my fancy. It's also sad that I have to resort to dusty, obsolete HTML S1 instead of S2, but one very frustrating night ( Read more... )

I love the layout! Gah Japanese paperwork trails and the BS that goes with them. Good luck with that, I hope it gets sorted by the deadline. Make sure you let them know they are putting your boss out!!!!! That should kick them into gear

Thanks! I'm proud of it.

Oh, they will hear all about it this weekend. Prepare, Sakawa, your phones are about to ring off the hook!

Layout looks awesome!

Oh.. and stupid question, but how were you hired without your background check being verified?

Headsets aren't too expensive, though, luckily.

Thanks! I can always count on you, my dear Rachel, for an ego boost.

I don't know why they do this, they just do. Like, they do a preliminary and then do a major one once I'm hired including checking my credit reports, look at my bank accounts, making sure I have all the diplomas I said I got... Guh.

Yeah, headphones aren't expensive but it still makes me grumpy. I was really trying not to buy anything but food and gas this month.

Ah, I missed your entries! And I'm sorry I didn't realize you'd updated til just now D:

Anyway, I like the layout :) it's like a candy cane made of stars. Yum.

I know how you feel, because I have a creative writing degree myself, and I am not churning out bestsellers. I have such a hard time motivating myself to write anything these days. While I would love to see you chose that path, I also think you should give other choices some serious thought. Working in a library is not such a bad thing and you would be able to write still... though having a requirement of writing a book really would propel you in the right direction.... ahhhh.... if it were me I'd have a hard time deciding as well. Flip a coin and if you feel horribly wrong about whatever it lands on, then you know you really wanted the opposite choice.

haha that's okay. I don't write very often, so it's easy for my entries to get buried.

I'm glad you like the layout. I spent way too much time on it. ^^

Yeah, I'm still struggling with the decision on where to go. I'm leaning toward Creative Writing, though. But I'll have to talk with the department head before I join the program to find out what exactly it has to offer.

is a layout? Dids something change? You play cards? Movie stars?

Are they mutually exclusive?
