Kyoto is lovely. Spend a huge amount of time at dusk in gion, and eat tea kaiseki bento boxes in kyoto. dont forget the big buddah! then later come visit me and get number 2 crossed off your list lol :p

The Fugu in osaka is nice and the huge fish tank (lol) is great... go see it. US sucks, dont bother at all!

have a great trip, best advice i can give, dont lose your camera!!!!!

The magazine I got has a bunch of "model plans" that I can use to route a good trip. One of them does put us into Gion at dusk!

Where is the Buddah? And do you live near Kyoto?

Yeah, maybe we should splurge for fugu in Osaka. I already plan to take her out for okonomiyaki. I just hope I can remember how to make it!

Oh, I read about your camera. That suuucks! I lost my prescription sunglasses during my trip to Kyushu and that was bas enough. I would've freaked if I'd lost some of those pictures.

nope. i live near Mt fuji! like at the bottom of Mt fuji!

so close i can hike to Mt Fuji from school (takes about 4 hours to the actual bottom)

i just have been to kyoto and osaka once before :)

Thanks! Planning this trip has been a little stressful, but also a ton of fun. Having the power to decide what things my friend sees and what she doesn't gives me a great sense of power and responsibility. I feel like Spiderman. ;D

I'm sorry you aren't coming too. :( It would've been a lot cooler with you there. BUT! Sound Horizon is about a billion times more important. I hope you have a fabulous time!
