Lee Adama is, pretty much, my BSG poin-of-view character by default and I have to admit to spending some significant amount of time on figuring out where he comes from with his actions and motivations. And since I do not in the least believe his charcter is "all-about-Kara", before, through or after New Caprica, it figured the reasons for his NC angst/anguish (as it always seems to go with him) root within the deeply embedded sense of inadequacy and self-deprecation, enhanced by guilt, which *recurrently* land him unable to embrace himself as deserving a healthy, fulfilling version of happiness.
