Yet again, I'm not sure where this one came from. BSG angst just won't let me go.  
It always seemed apparent Lee Adama's innermost sense of inadequacy, confusion and guilt was instrumental to driving him into the darker corners of self-inflicted (and effectively dissipated) hurt and hatred, at various points through the series.  And it's all but an ( Read more... )

Thank you! I'm beyond thrilled to know that! :)
Lee Adama is, pretty much, my BSG poin-of-view character by default and I have to admit to spending some significant amount of time on figuring out where he comes from with his actions and motivations. And since I do not in the least believe his charcter is "all-about-Kara", before, through or after New Caprica, it figured the reasons for his NC angst/anguish (as it always seems to go with him) root within the deeply embedded sense of inadequacy and self-deprecation, enhanced by guilt, which *recurrently* land him unable to embrace himself as deserving a healthy, fulfilling version of happiness.
