Kaspersky antivirus, or the day I went nuts

So, last night, I'm just sitting around, doing nothing special, wondering why my pc is so slow, when suddenly, a little bubble pops up on the bottom right side of my screen, telling me that there wasn't enough disk space anymore.

Tech adventure featuring: Kaspersky, uTorrent and HUGE temporary files! )

I use Avast which seems to work pretty well. Though I've had some disc space issues recently, but it's more with memory, not my HD, so I'm thinking my laptop is just getting old and too full lol

I've been using Nod32 by ESET for the last two years based on a ton of research I did for antivirus programs that don't install bloatware, which slows down your PC (for which Norton is infamous). It is also compatible with other antispyware programs, but recently they've come up with their own two-in-one (like Norton, only it doesn't suck major ass) called Smart Security that I upgraded to just in case my Spy Sweeper isn't reaching its full potential. But the regular ol' [slightly cheaper] Nod32 should still be available if you're good with whatever antispyware you're using.

I haven't had any PC problems whatsoever in the two years I've been using ESET. I've never experienced anything like it. It runs so quietly and unnoticeably in the background, doesn't take twelve years to load on startup, and takes up VERY little space and CPU. And it notifies me of shit that most other AV programs can't even pick up on (like when people have those creepy MySpace "trackers" installed on their profiles).

If you havnt used it i would suggest AVG (free download if you search for it). We use it at work when we get bugs in the system that our day to day antivirus doesnt handle.. for some reason it seems to pull up a lot of stuff other programs dont find and it has anti-spyware as part of the same program.
