No, not the uber-powerful aliens from Jack L. Chalker's Well World books--those are Markovians.

So why am I chatting with a Marlovian?

I like that tune--though it's a bit more cheerful than I feel, probably because I'm both narrating and singing one part, so to speak.

UPDATE:

We're now 48 hours from my original request, and the Marlovian in question still hasn't provided an example. Moreover, she has expressed concern that presenting only "one or two examples" would not be convincing, and that doing so would unintentionally set her up for failure in making her case.

I could not refrain from pointing out that ZERO examples are very definitely not convincing, and that her refusal to provide even a single piece of evidence is INTENTIONALLY failing to make her case.

In short, I'm now convinced she has no case; she just Believes.
