I love bagel-sticks! Used to eat them all the time in high school, did not realize what a hole of misery the lack of their crunchy-goodness had left in my life since them.

It´s my last day in Mexico.

Ate fresh guanabana this morning. The taste was good but the texture was totally naff. And I usually don't care about texture. V. slimy.

Happy august. Is it just me or is this summer flying by?

Went to Tepotzlan today. Took us forever to depart the school because the bus was waiting for these 2 kids (8 & 10 yo) to show up.

Soup with chard for lunch - 1st leafy green veggie in 10 days = body in shock. Am bringing Aztec-style maguey juice (booze) back for you all to try. I like it, but I have a sinking suspicion it is a drink only the marmite eater could love. (How cool is it that MS Word knows how to spell marmite?)
