LUNAcy

everyone i'm close to knows about my undying fascination for the MOON. i can recall a few times when i almost trip on my own feet (high heels do not help), while i'm crossing the street or not, because i get distracted by seeing a full or crescent moon above me. even better when it has a yellow or orange tinge to it. sometimes i stop for a few ( Read more... )

you are so like my friend Kathy (of Daydream Cycle). She's also addicted to the moon. She calls it her Celestial Mother. =) Me I love the sky. Orange skies to be exact. =)

you're actually one of the few people i know who actually like seeing the day start (i like sunrises too, if only for the fact that it means i can sleep na). as for orange skies, the more intense, the better! as much as i try to catch the sunset, i'm obviously more into the moon.

Celestial Mother.. i read something about this in Paolo Coelho's "By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept". i believe some people regard it as a religion.

Yeah, sometimes nga when I arrive late from a gimik or if I can't sleep tapos it's around 5am na and I'm starting to see orange skies, I stay up talaga and push my curtains wide open so I can see the sky. E diba I'm on the 18th floor pa so the sky is really...wow...=)

i only like sunrises when i'm outside (i remember Tali). if i'm at home and the sun is rising, i hide under the covers/pillows. i feel like i have to fall asleep before it lights up the whole sky. if not, patay.. master showman na to.. WALANG TULUGAN!!!

I enjoy looking at the moon myself, but I don't think I'm quite as obsessed. =) Do you know why it takes on an orange tinge?

erm.. i'm thinking it's because of the smog? hehe. i'm not sure. i just think it's real purty :)

Yeah, it's the pollution. =p

which, i heard, is also responsible for more vivid sunsets/sunrises. either way, at least the pollution has given us more psychedelic sky shows.

fellow moon worshipper!

"maybe because it's the brightest beacon in the dark night sky. maybe because it changes its look everyday. maybe because i'm a nocturnal child and i look up to it as my source of energy, compared to the sun that only drains me. it also matches my mood. whatever phase it's in, it's always romantic or lonely or grinning wickedly. it really depends on how you look at it, like most things in life. all that and the solitude. so maybe it's simply because i envy how it's so at peace even while being alone. besides, with the stars for company, how can one complain?"

you said it! you just put into words all of my thoughts last night as i was pondering on making the henna i got over the weekend permanent. (i have four right now.. the moon, the stars and 2 "mantras")

*sigh*
wala akong masabi. i'm rereading your entry. ang galing.

at ang galing lang ha? i can soooo totally relate.

my god, nakikipag usap kaya ako dun.. the moon has seen my tears and heard my fears.

i've always positioned my bed in such a way that i'll sleep drenched in moonlight.

thanks to the graveyard shift, hindi ko na nagagawa yun. i dint even see him last night.

tara nga! mag beach tayo! stressmax d2 eh. sabay sabay na yata tayo mag aapply iza.

exactly why it has become one of my best friends. the best thing? it listens. and without a word coming from it, you just know that it understands.
