at the event of receiving horrendous news, one can't help but freak out and i did just that yesterday. so i consoled myself by treating a very good college friend of mine, jason, to lunch, then proceeded by tagging him along with me to do some semi-serious shopping. mostly christmas presents, even though i was hardly in the mood for gift-giving
