Wondrous Weekend:  This weekend in Indy was a ton of fun.  Had a fantastic dinner on Friday at Maggiano's with Joyce, Deb and my mom.
Delicious steak and a superb merlot to go with it.  And one of the best damn pieces of chocolate cake I've ever had.  Coupled with an incredible chocolate martini.  *drools*

Shopped on Saturday at a variety of places,

I'm so glad you got to go with me to Indy. As I mentioned in my entry, it is hard to describe the best thing about the weekend, just being together and enjoying each others' company. It is great to have relatives who are also your friends! We always have such a good time, teasing a bit and laughing and sharing stories and what has been going on in our lives lately.

Oh, and you look really good in your early Christmas present top and sweater!! Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE that blue striped shirt! I might have to go get me one of those, haha. It's totally adorable.

And you look great in your new sweater. I can't pull off cable knit. I don't know what it is. I just look like a doofus. But on YOU, it looks fabulous.

And finally, those SHOES! I love 'em. Every other pair of Toms I've seen have just been HIDEOUS (Taylor's included... seriously, WHO dresses that boy?) but I think you've managed to find the cutest pair possible.

Aaaaaaaaand, basically I'm jealous of your awesome retail-therapy shopping skills, haha!

Like I said to your mom, I'm really glad you all had such a fantastic weekend! That seems like it would be so much fun to have a Girls' Weekend, definitely a great tradition!

I love that shade of blue on the striped shirt, it looks really great on you, honey! And I'm so in love with that cable-knit sweater, it looks so comfy. You look beautiful as always. :)

It's great that the shoes are so comfortable, they look really nice!
