Oh, damn you, god DAMN you for having such a beautiful, clean house. WITH CATS! It can happen, J, you dumbass! See?! *goes slightly manic*
There is nothing that puts me in a shitty mood faster than when J stomps around the house stuttering angrily, going, "There's just-- just NO REASON to try and clean this house because it's ALWAYS such a FREAKIN' MESS. *SIGNIFICANT STARE AT LILY'S PILES OF CRAFT PARAPHERNALIA*"
Can we trade lives? Or houses, at least? I'll take care of Chester and Nutmeg, I promise!
Ok, I really have to reply to this, Lily. Elisa's house usually doesn't look this good, either! She had cleaned because Oriana was coming over and hadn't been there before, and she even cleaned up some after that. When Mark and I saw the living room picture with the coffee table clear, we both immediately said, "Wow, it's cleaned off!" So, don't feel bad!
LOL, aww, honey! Seriously, it only looks as nice as it does in those photos because I cleaned the other day before Oriana came to visit yesterday. Granted, it also helps a lot that I only have one room with carpet, and the rest is just tile, so cleaning up the cat hair goes really quickly. I think the living room is also kind of decieving because of how much open space there is - it helps because things automatically look less cluttered that way.
But you don't have to tell him that. ;D *hugs*
If it'll make you feel better, I'll try to remember to take pictures around the apartment in a week or two, because I can almost guarantee you that by then, the coffee table will have all kinds of other crap on it, the top of my desk will be an indecipherable mess of paper and bills and the like, my hallways will be lined with cat hair, and my cough and my bed will both be covered in so much cat hair that it'll take at least 20 minutes of vaccuming to get them clean. XD Fuuuuun, hahaha.
Your place looks great, with the ornaments on the tree, and everything! I'll have to come down tomorrow and see it 'in person.' (If you'll let me in the door after I 'outed' you to Lily! Ha.)
Hark, I spot a kitty cat on that papaya something or other chair that looks really comfy.
I love the tree doll, and it looks FANTASTIC in that room. It gives it such a cozy feel! That room looks like a ski resort--so homely and snug and awesome.
I love the little fixtures, too. The candles and stones here and there make it look so zen and calming, until I see the...
Hehehehe, yup, that's Nutmeg in the papasan chair, LOL. That and the cat bed that I have on the couch are her two favorite spots.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it! And I agree, I think it does give it a cozier feel, hehe.
And hahahaha, seriously, the twinkling lights are way too much fun. I keep the hallway light off now all the time, whenever I have the twinkling lights plugged in.
Well, it would solve Lily's problem of cat hairs all over the house! Actually in Hawaii papaya chairs to catch cat hairs might be a really cheap alternative to cleaning all the time!
Okay, so the fact that I have the exact same cable remote isn't all that spectacular, since so does half of America. But I ALSO have the same DVD remote. Creepy? I think so! ;)
I love your little apartment. It kicks my apartment's ass, I can tell you that much!
