IC QUESTIONS
Why am I here? An army of aliens called Celestials have destroyed your planet. You have been randomly selected by a time warp/teleporting system to become either a part of the Alliance's Army or a civilian.
Where am I? Currently you are in a large city called Westphalia located on the planet Amaron.
What is the city like? The city looks like this. There are fully operational schools, libraries, hospitals, and all the other things you would find in a normal city. You will arrive in the skyscraper that is in the center of the page. The right skyscraper is connected to the left for easy access to your apartments and the office building.
Can I leave? Sure, but there are plenty of people guarding the exits. You can expect to get quite a bit of hell if you try.
What are ranks? Like the military today, you will be placed into a specific rank. A few examples would be a Private, Colonel, Major, or General. How you are ranked depends on your battle and leadership skills.
When do we fight? Upon arriving you will go through basic training to deal with the Celestials, but there will definitely be battles you will be sent off to…perhaps even out into space!
What can we do for fun? Besides military balls, there will definitely be some pretty funky things happening with the city. Sometimes the water supply gets contaminated with liquids from the science labs or wormholes open up. The environment itself isn't very stable from time to time, so you can expect some pretty freaky stuff happening every so often.
Who is the Maestro? The Maestro is the General and proud ruler of Westphalia. It would be wise to stay on his good side.
OOC Matters
Are original characters allowed? Yes! Just remember that you'll have to be a bit more detailed than with a character we have quite a bit of information on.
What are the general rules? Play nice, be respectful to other players, and remember the ooc info does not equal what your character knows. It's as simple as that.
Can I throw a meme up on the ooc comm? Sure, go right ahead!
What if I want to leave/hiatus? Just leave a note on the taken character's list if you are leaving and then promptly state your leave in the ooc comm. As for hiatuses, you can just tell a mod and we'll keep track of when you should be coming back.
Can I apply for a celebrity? We're cool with original characters, but anyone from in real life is out of bounds.
What about inappropriate content? In this sort of environment, inappropriate content is bound to pop up. If a log or post to the communication network turns into anything above PG-13, please friends lock it. As for smutting, definitely put it under an lj-cut, friends lock it, and make sure you aren't smutting with a minor.
Anything else I need to remember? Just have fun! If another player ever makes you feel uncomfortable then please contact a mod. We don't bite, really, we're actually quite nice!
