Well, it *would* let you take an Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres from your opponent and use it as if it was your own, but for two things: 1-it's a jumbo card and those can't be played 2-it's nearly 10 years old and so couldn't be played now anyway unless you were using Unlimited format.
But as for now I suppose "appreciate in value" works.

Nobody uses the new cards, or the new rules. They're not the TCG any more. Wizards doesn't make it anymore, so therefore it sucks.
We play with the old cards, and with old rules, and old glass bead counters and awesome status-affliction orientation. It's sweet. Actually I'm getting some Sabrina cards I ordered in the mail, soon.

But even when this card was new you couldn't play it. It says on the card that it can't be played, just like all the jumbo cards do.
