You know, I'm probably going to start killing people each time I see Worgen form referred to as a character's "True" form.
It's a curse. it's something you've been turned into. It's an unnatural abberation that is only controlled via a better living through chemistry. Its only a "true" from if you're a flipping furfag.
My friend's worgen treats the wolf form as his true form. He never leaves it and feels more comfortable in it. When asked why, he says it's because his senses are stronger and he feels more connected with everything. He acknowledges it's a shitty curse on his people either way, though.
idk, it can be done right. I just hate when people treat it like an anime villan "buahaha let me show you my true form now" kind of thing.
'Fraid I'll have to disagree, much as I like ya. She makes quite a number of grammatical errors, it's much too long to be a useful flag, and her whole story is basically one big bowl of Emo Sue with a side order of angst in scream sauce.
Well the thing about civil discourse and debate is one is free to disagree with whom ever they choose, friend and foe alike.
Allow me to retort gentle sir.
After role playing in World of Warcraft for almost six years now I have long ago decided to over looks simple mistakes such as grammatical errors and simply look to composition and structure. While long winded indeed, and sometimes confusing it is without prose and an easy read. Which for me is always more important than grammar.
Also I am not entirely sure what is Emo about this or really filled with angst either. I suppose I am just looking at it objectively as compared to the normal drek we are presented with here.
I think what irks me most is that this is pretty damn well written. It's not overly prosey, it's ... really well done. It's just that this person is using their powers for horrible evil. Horrible, horrible Lovecraftian evil

Well, it might be. I mean, she WAS apparently male until her mom carved "Polymorph: Female" into her own stomach.
...Which, did I mention how badly that idea squicked me out?

And I have to agree, pretty squicky. I think that kind of thing could really make a lot of people upset IRL, intentionally or not.

Also, to be fair, the ability Darkflight mentions shifting to your "true form" if I'm not mistaken.

The really sad part is it is actually well written. I hate it when good writing is used for evil.
