The Future of Yukigumi

May 29, 2010 13:01

In an impressive display of Preparation Fail this morning, I forgot to set my alarm to go to irimachi. When I woke up it was about 25 minutes before I needed to leave, so I did the bare minimum to get ready, went out and then came back afterward.

That gives me a little more time to post! So I'd like to talk about a couple of things.

Yumeka Ami )

...it just seems so moronic for Kimu to pick someone outside of Yukigumi.

I didn't know that the top stars picked their musumeyaku partners... >_> If they do that, I really don't get why it's not Mimi. To be perfectly honest, I've never been a big fan of her, so it's not that I'm overly sad that she most likely won't be Kimu's partner, but she's so Yukigumi and as you've said, they've been paired off before... Guh, this is all getting to me. I just want Kimu to have a good partner, damn it.

>_> (Not touching the nibante issue either... I just don't know.)

From what I understand they always have at least some say in it. Case-by-case I of course don't know how much the top otokoyaku's wishes count over the company's, but...

The overwhelming trend seems to be despite how much you saw two people together and thought they had a lot of "combi-ness", when they become top they end up with someone else. :\

If Ami is talented, I'm glad. She'll be a pleasure to watch. I admit to being slightly freaked at the thought of her becoming a Top though-- probably because I was gushing over Daichi Mao recently, and noticed her partner became Top within a year of her debut. So, that means it's happened? @__@ I hope I'm misreading the TakaWiki.

For the sake of sanity, I'm going to follow your transfer theory. It's much easier to accept than alternatives.
