My heart sank when I heard the news.Stupid Hankyu and its stupid "40 years old" rule preventing Yumiko from making top. Stupid company for not maneuvering people differently in order to allow her to become top

This is ridiculous. At least two top spots are probably going to be opening up this year--the management couldn't have held on to Yumiko until then? With the size of her fanclub, and the extent of her talent? Who else has the following and talent she does right now among the nibante?
I know the management has their rules about age, but if that really is why she's going, they're shooting themselves in the foot financially speaking. The only other one who seems ready is Tomu, but she can't fill two spots.
I just hope this is happening because Yumiko wants it to happen, and not because the management is being stupid.
It's happening because the actors can read the tea leaves just as well as we can - they can see many talented older stars being passed over for the younger and more popular, not in isolated instances but in every troupe. Who would want to stay in an environment where you feel like your position is constantly insecure, for reasons that are out of your control? For Yumiko I suspect this is simply a way to save face - rather than wait to be passed over by Kimu, she can leave before Mizu and receive a lot of attention, adulation, and outsize commemoration before she goes. It's not a bad deal.
this might be even right. In that case, Yumiko wins, but still...argh, I don't get all that policy around it! I just see, it seems so unfair to those, who worked so hard for....."nothing" is not the right words, but it is a pity....
Please, you're talking to a Ryouga Haruhi club member. I'm honestly going to hate them forever for what they've done - it's disrespectful and unfair.
I don't know if it makes me feel better or worse that Ahi's not the only one that this is happening to this year. Certainly Yumiko is getting out better than most.
I'm just confused in general. And surprised. And shocked. What a great shame we won't get to see & hear more of Yumiko-chan. She has an awesome singing voice that can effortlessly fill the whole auditorium. Often if Siennes're lacking anything it's singing ability but that is one thing she definately has as a major talent so it's a shame to see someone who can actually sing going too soon! T_____T
Too distraught to have any thoughts right now, but you bringing up Chie making Top yet Yumiko not does strike a cord in me, and... ugh. Hankyu. *goes back to box of tissues*
