Casablanca's "一部の配役"

See, this is why I've said "objectively I'm excited about Casablanca because it's TAKARAZUKA doing CASABLANCA"...

But then sometimes I forget what I'm supposed to be looking forward toThe site promises that MORE roles should be released at a later date, but actually, who cares! There are no other important roles! Random refugees and bystanders in ( Read more... )

... do you think Ren-chan will be given permission to touch a bottle or a glass in the bar?

Ahahaha! Oh god, I hope so! Or perhaps, "random passerby as Yuuhi and Sumika flash back to their happier days in Paris". ;)

(If you're really lucky, she'll get to be a nameless soldier X3)

Ban-san had a forty-year career - I think that's one retirement that's really a retirement in the non-Takarazuka sense of the word :) I think that changes one's outlook a lot.

I think that's one retirement that's really a retirement in the non-Takarazuka sense of the word :)

Unfortunately this is a likely possibility. But to give some other examples, Yashiro Kou has done a concert post-retirement. Ritsu Tomomi has done the same, and she also continues to act.

Anyway, regardless of what she does post-taidan I'm so glad that Ban-san is getting a good role to go out on <3

What I meant was that Takarasiennes get old like everyone else - Ban-san would be nearly sixty, and she's given her all to Takarazuka for forty years. There comes a time when the performance schedule really isn't healthy anymore, and she's well earned some rest :)

Then I remembered that this is Koike-sensei, who for all his shows is said to do...

You may be right, but soragumi has been off for 2-4 weeks depending on the cast. Couldn't he have done auditions then? ^^;

I'm assuming you'll ask Alice-chan about the situation tomorrow?

The site promises that MORE roles should be released at a later date, but actually, who cares! There are no other important roles! Random refugees and bystanders in the club don't need role names!I hope I didn't come off that way in my entry ^^; It's more that if there aren't going to be a lot of role names, I would rather have a show where people got to do cute things in the background over a show where there were lots of roles names but little stage time for lots of people ( ... )

No, it wasn't your post that made me feel that way. I view it as a statement of fact -- Casablanca was not made for an 80-person cast.

I would rather have a show where people got to do cute things in the background over a show where there were lots of roles names but little stage time for lots of people.

So what you mean is, you'd rather there be no pretense of "role name = importance" and just put the majority of people in the background? ^^;;

It's difficult to say what's best. Probably nothing will ever be good as ParaPuri for giving lots of people a chance to show their individuality. And I mean, I know about the changes to Pimpernel and stuff.

Anyway, I should say "something is better than nothing" for Alice-chan... but I'm going to sulk a little while longer. :P

You misinterpret my words, woman ;P You're right, this definitely doesn't look like a great situation. But it may not necessarily be a irredeemably horrible situation. I would rather have underclassmen do cute things in the background over having them not do anything at all.

Anyway, I should say "something is better than nothing" for Alice-chan... but I'm going to sulk a little while longer. :P

It's understandable in this situation *hugs*
