LOOK AT THIS SHIT. Frozen Britain seen from above. Now that is not something you see every day. Or, like, ever. WHERE HAVE ALL THE LOVELY GREEN BITS GONE? When the Beeb showed the picture, my parents and I were sat making noises at the telly like we were front row at a slightly scary fireworks display ( Read more... )

My God but that's some gorgeous snow. I am from the South -- we almost NEVER get snow. I press my nose to the window like a wide-eyed toddler whenever there's a brief flurry.

THE SILVER FOXES OMG SO CUTE.

It is gooooood. *_* Normally brief flurries are all we really get, either, with perhaps a day or so of snow once a year. I LOVE SNOW. I'd hate living somewhere that never got it D:

I WISH I COULD FIND YOU A VIDEO OF THE TAME SILVER FOXES IN ACTION. ADSJKFH. THEY WERE LIKE LIVING FUR SCARVES. brb I bet there are clips on YT. SEE MY ETA :D

WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF ROAD SALT AND NATIONWIDE GAS SUPPLIES /o\ which is somewhat perturbing, although apparently the gas shortage isn't going to affect the public. IDK WHERE WE WILL GET MORE SALT FROM, THOUGH.

THE SEA!

lol idk. Isn't that where salt comes from? *L*

BUT THE SEA IS SO FAR AWAY. I guess we could get an epic nationwide de-icing movement going, starting from the shorelines. Like a really big bucket chain.

Also lol re: the national gas supplies running low, I can't wait for the Daily Mail to get hold of that story and scream hysterically WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIIIIIIIEEEE

It's just under strain because of an increase in demand, not because we're literally running out of the raw supply/we've been cut off by the supplying country, but they won't sell it that way.

RIGHT? There was also a BBC special on Pakistani sham marriage rings in which Eastern European women are essentially sold into marriage so illegal Pakistani immigrants can get a leg-up into British citizenship. I was just watching it thinking 'I BET THE DAILY MAIL IS SOMEHOW GOING TO LINK THIS TO THE STRAINED GAS SUPPLIES (ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS COMING TO OUR COUNTRY, USING OUR GAS!) AND WEEP HYSTERICALLY ABOUT IT IN TOMORROW'S PAPER.'

Hahaaa I know, I knoooow. But it's not as exciting as saying THE GAS IS RUNNING OOOOUT!! (And that is what my dad told me what he broke the story to me last night. "Britain has week's supply of gas left! 8D")

LI can't imagine what it would be like to live somewhere it snows. Poss coz its 35oC here today.

Also your snowman freaks me out a bit. I think you should salt him.

I am torn between hating your warmth and loving my backgarden. WHY CAN'T I SOMEHOW COMBINE THE TWO?

How could you say such a thing about poor windowsill snowman? :(

Oh gosh, frozen Britain makes ME gape and I don't even live there! D: It looks so WHITE! I'm all agog.

And please don't apologize for the snow photos! They're lovely, you're an excellent photographer. (Somehow with all your other artistic talents, I'm not surprised. XD) My favorite ones are the hedge and the second chimney from the bottom. If I were somewhere it snowed, I'd take ten million pictures of snow on hedges, too. (I can legitimately claim that I've taken four rolls' worth of photos of trees in one go, for proof.)

OHHH AND ALSO I totally forgot to say that I've seen/read something similar about the silver foxes before, AND IT FASCINATES AND DELIGHTS ME TO THE POINT OF FLAPPING MY HANDS. *_*

FROM HEAD TO TOE, MAN. I really don't think that's ever happened before in my lifetime :O

Awwww, thank you. I took SO MANY MORE over today/yesterday, but I've been restricting myself xD But! Which hedge? WHICH HEDGE IS YOUR FAVOURITE? The bare branched poodle one, or the pine tree-y one?

RIGHT?! IF ONLY MORE SCIENCE WERE FASCINATING AND ADORABLE AT THE SAME TIME.

I had a coherent response planned out, but then I saw your icon, and now all I'm thinking of is bra!Chad frolicking in the snow. 8|

BUT YES, I never thought it could look like that! Crazy shit, yo. And sometime if you feel unlazy, you should put the rest somewhere so I (and others, since :O everything you do in your life is not for my sole benefit) can fawn over them! XD And urgh, see, I MEANT the poodle one, but I love the pine tree-y one, too! D: DON'T MAKE ME CHOOOOSE, they're both so pretty.

The craziest part to me is how much they started to look like dogs, all black and white with blue eyes? God, I want one. I'd just snuggle it in my arms all day.
